Employee Benefits

The success of our district depends on the strength of our employees. That’s why Flagler Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including options that fit different individual and family needs. Many benefits are paid for in full or in part by the district, and other benefits are offered on a voluntary basis and paid for by the employee through payroll deduction.

The benefits offered to our employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additional benefits include pre-tax accounts, employee assistance programs, voluntary retirement savings plans, and more. Flagler Schools also participates in the Florida Retirement System (FRS).

Benefits

Employees can enroll by calling a trained benefits counselor at 1-866-312-5922 or by going to Bentek.

  • Medical Plan Administration

    • Medical plan administration is HealthSCOPE Benefits and ClaimDOC
    • HealthSCOPE Benefits, a UnitedHealthcare company, serves as the independent third-party administrator, while ClaimDOC provides claim auditing, provider outreach, bill review, and U.S. based member advocacy, including a dedicated Advocate for personalized support

    ClaimDOC 888-330-7295

    HealthSCOPE 844-600-0930

    Medical Plan Structure

    • Members can choose any provider—there is no network limitation—but the plan is designed to guide members to providers and facilities that offer high-quality care at fair, transparent prices
    • Because this is Flagler Schools’ custom self-funded plan, employees should nominate providers so ClaimDOC can explainhow the plan works, how to submit claims, and answer questionsbefore care is received; ID cards will not display a traditional large carrier logo

    Prescription Drug Benefits

    MedImpact 800-361-4592

    RxSaveCard 312-469-0042
