Advanced High School Programs

Accelerated Programs are advanced high school academic programs, designed to prepare students for postsecondary study and the workforce. Each high school offers students the opportunity to participate in academically challenging programs, enroll in postsecondary courses, and receive college credit. Information about program requirements can be provided by school-based guidance counselors.

Instruction at Flagler Schools includes curriculum from the following programs: Advanced Placement (AP), Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE), and International Baccalaureate Programme (IB). These programs are national and international programs with a set curriculum which can be found on each program's website. Students enrolled in these programs have the potential to earn college credit by passing subject-specific exams.

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment allows high school students to enroll in postsecondary courses and receive both high school and postsecondary credit. Students who complete these classes generally take fewer classes in college and save money on college costs. Please visit the Dual Enrollment page for information about dual enrollment opportunities at Flagler Schools.
