Voluntary Pre-K

Will your child be 4 by September 1st? If YES, your child is eligible for FREE VPK

For the current school year, VPK is available at all elementary schools in Flagler County. Students will attend their home-zoned school, can participate in our free breakfast/free or reduced lunch program and enjoy the benefit of participating in a VPK program that will fully prepare them for Kindergarten.

School-Year VPK
School- Year VPK is Monday-Friday, 3 FREE hours per day with daily schedules to follow each elementary bell times. Additional instructional hours (wrap around) will be available for $65.00 per week. Before school times will coincide with each elementary school extended day program. Afterschool times go until 5:30pm. VPK students will follow Flagler County School Board uniform policy. Click here to view uniform dress code

Free breakfast is available for all Flagler County Schools students. 
Free/reduced lunch is available for qualifying students that stay for wraparound.

 **School choice is limited. Only students with siblings currently attending the elementary school,
will be granted school choice.**


Summer VPK 
If your child did NOT attend a school-year VPK program and is entering Kindergarten the following August,
he/she is eligible for the Summer VPK program. Registration will be held at Bunnell Elementary, starting in April of each year. 

Transportation for VPK is the parent's responsibility. 


REGISTRATION PROCESS 
Please make an appointment with your homezone school's registrar to register your student.

 Step 2 -  Click Here for the 2019-2020 school year registration packet. Please have the packet complete when you go to register.

 You must have a current COE and a completed registration packet to be placed in the program.
