Jessica Lunsford Act
Flagler Schools is in compliance with the requirements of the Jessica Lunsford Act and Florida Statute 1012.32.
Any applicant for any position within Flagler Schools must attest during the application process that they understand that they will be required "to submit to a Level II background screening which consists of an Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)/Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) search."
Any applicants that do not attest to this are not considered for employment by Flagler Schools. All employees are fingerprinted to verify their background screening, and all results are submitted to the FDLE for required checks.
