New Hire

Required Steps for New Hires

  1. All new hires will be contacted by a Personnel Specialist to initiate the onboarding process, and receive instructions about how to schedule and pay for fingerprinting via Fieldprint. 
    Fingerprinting Cost is $49.25

  2. Complete the Drug Screening Authorization form and complete a Drug Screening at MediQuick. (Transportation employees should not use this form, contact Transportation at 386-586-2145 for instructions.)  
    Drug Screening Cost is $35.00. 

  3. Read Flagler Schools Policies and Procedures documents pertaining to the Code of Ethics, Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace, Family Medical Leave, Sexual Harassment Policy, Employee Access, Johns Eastern (Worker’s Comp), PayCard and Technology Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not have access to print from your computer, a hard copy of this material is available at the Human Resources office.  

  4. View the Benefit GuideDetailed information will be provided via virtual orientation.

  5. All newly hired benefit-eligible employees of Flagler Schools will be emailed our Virtual New Hire Orientation Presentation after they are cleared by the Human Resources Department.
