2019 State of Education Message

Flagler Schools Superintendent James Tager will offer his final “State of Education” address Tuesday, November 5th at 6:00 pm inside the Board Chambers of the Government Services Building in Bunnell.

Superintendent Tager will recap his initiatives which helped lead Flagler Schools to an A-Rating by the Florida Department of Education, as well as increased graduation rates for Flagler Schools students. Says Mr. Tager, “I want to use this opportunity to highlight the work our entire Flagler Schools family has done during my tenure as Superintendent. Everyone from our students and their parents, to our teachers, administrators, and staff have worked with the same goals and it is paying off.”  

Prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year began, Mr. Tager announced he will be retiring at the end of this school year, on June 30th which coincides with the end of his contract.
