Something fishy in aquatic weed conrol
Posted on 05/14/2019
Flagler Schools has teamed up with Florida Waterways, Inc to control aquatic weeds in our retention ponds across the district. We caught up with Jim Schwartz and Gustavo Velez as they released the first carp into retention ponds around Indian Trails Middle School and Belle Terre Elementary School. They were trucked in from an aquatic farm in Alabama. In all, about 400 fish will be used across the district. Watch the video to find out more on this innovative program!
