Graduation, Promotion Dates Set, Half-Days to Wrap Up 2023-24

From caps and gowns to walking the halls, Flagler Schools has released their “End of Year Events” calendar that will wrap-up the 2023-24 school year here on the First Coast.

 

Headlining the calendar is Wednesday, May 22, the graduation date for both Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas High Schools. The Pirates are slated to take the stage at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach beginning at 3 p.m. Four hours later, the Bulldog Nation will then fill the Ocean Center for a graduation ceremony beginning at 7 p.m.

 

May 22 and 23 are the final two days of the school year. Both of these days will be half-days for Flagler Schools. On these two days, high schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m., middle schools will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m. and elementary schools will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are scheduled to be served and transportation schedules will be adjusted accordingly.

 

Flagler Technical College will hold their graduation ceremony at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 28 at Flagler Auditorium. The first promotions for VPK and above take place on May 15. High School Seniors re-visit their elementary schools and “Walk The Halls” in pre-graduation celebrations which begin as early as May 16. 

 

Additionally, May 7 and 8, the Flagler County Education Foundation Senior Scholarships Events at Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas High Schools, respectively.
