Flagler Schools was well-represented at this year's statewide Future Problem Solver Competition in Orlando that was held from March 23rd through March 26th.

From Rymfire Elementary School to our middle and high schools, Flagler students brought home multiple awards. Seventy students qualified to continue on to the International Competition. This competition will be held in Bloomington, Indiana, from June 4th through June 8th. It will bring together over 2,000 champion problem solvers and supporters from around the world.

Since 1974, Future Problem Solving challenges K-12 students worldwide to "participate in a variety of challenges designed to empower curious youth to become changemakers," according to the Future Problem Solving website.

"Problem solvers learn how to think, not what to think, and gain skills they need to succeed in work and life. Our programs help young people develop their own voices and gives them the confidence to use them."
