Flagler Schools Celebrates Growth in School Grades and Academic Achievement

(Flagler County, Fla.) - Flagler Schools proudly announces continued academic growth and stability in its 2025 school grade results, as released by the Florida Department of Education. With increases across key academic areas and notable gains at several schools, the district remains firmly committed to its vision of becoming the nation’s premier learning organization and the best choice for education in Flagler County.

Flagler Schools maintained its overall “B” rating, reflecting consistent districtwide performance. The district saw improvement in every academic achievement component including English Language Arts (ELA), Grade 3 ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The graduation rate, which is a lagging indicator, improved as well, contributing to an overall increase of 5 points in the district’s score from the previous year.

Three schools maintained an “A” rating (Matanzas High School, Old Kings Elementary School, and Indian Trails Middle School) while five schools maintained their “B” ratings (Bunnell Elementary School, Rymfire Elementary School, Flagler-Palm Coast High School, Wadsworth Elementary School, and Belle Terre Elementary School). Six schools increased their overall school grade points, showcasing momentum across the district. Flagler-Palm Coast High School led the way with a remarkable 30-point gain, Rymfire Elementary improved by an impressive 19 points, and Belle Terre Elementary rose by 15 points. Additional gains were noted at Bunnell Elementary, Matanzas High School, and Indian Trails Middle School.

While school grades are just one measure of success, these improvements reflect the hard work of students, teachers, and staff who are dedicated to creating an environment where every student can thrive.
