Third Grade

Third Graders are working on beat vs. rhythm, as well as light voice vs. heavy voice.  They're also reviewing pitches and rhythms learned last year.  They'll learn about melodic shapes as well. They will also learn about the ballet.

Fourth Grade

Fourth grade classes are reviewing pitch and rhythm concepts learned last year, and preparing to learn new ones this year, by singing songs and playing games that have the new elements in them. They'll also learn about opera.

Fifth Grade

Fifth graders are reviewing pitch and rhythm concepts learned last year, and preparing to learn new ones this year through the use of songs, games, and movement.  They'll learn about the symphony as well.
