Ways to Volunteer
We Love Our Volunteers!
Make a memory with your children,
spend some time to show you care;
Toys and trinkets can't replace those precious
moments that you share.

Listening to Readers
During our morning reading time (9:00-9:20), listen to children practice poetry or leveled books giving lots of “oohs and aahs” for their success.Classroom Assistant
These parents should be able to come at least once a week to make copies, file, and staple booklets together, etc.Sight Word Assistant
Work 1:1 as students learn our sight word lists. Record their success!Book Orders
Collect monthly Scholastic book orders from children, call in or use the Internet to order books and pass out books when they arrive
Donate! Donate! Donate!
Don't overlook this! We always run out of pencils, post-its, glue sticks, erasers, treasure box prizes!
Project helper
Work at home or with Mrs. Gillin to complete monthly craft projects for each student. Sometimes it is just drawing and cutting, or making stencils. Or help put up and take down bulletin boards.
