Thursday Folder Letter--September 11
Reading: Next week we are reading, “Henry and Mudge” and “Dogs.” Please practice these stories every night, starting on Friday.
Math Test: We will have a Math test tomorrow, September 12, over Chapter 3.

Sight Words: If your child is in my class for reading, I have enclosed some sight words and phrases your child needs to practice. Please read through these nightly until your child has them memorized. I will then give them the next list.
Math Facts: Your child needs to begin memorizing their math facts. They need to have addition and subtraction facts, to 10, memorized by the end of the year. I have enclosed addition flash cards. Please start with 1’s. Cut out all of the flash cards with a one on them and memorize those first. Then move on to 2’s, etc.
