This was one of our projects from last school year.
These are our "far away penpal buddies" from Iraq. We have sent them holiday greetings, Valentines cards and pictures. In return we have received many letters from the soldiers and they have really appreciated our mail. Please stop by our office window where many of their letters are displayed.
We are collecting helpful items to send to our penpals. Items such as lip balm, puzzle books, mints, gum, wet wipes, and lotions would be greatly appreciated. Just send them in with your child and we will take care of getting everything boxed and shipped.
