First Grade: Tree Unit
The first graders are studying trees. This unit allows the students to get up close with nature. We as humans take advantage of the raw materials trees provide, however when was the last time we "met" a tree? In order to examine the trees the students use scientific tools and methods. As a class they keep keen notes on thier observations.
