I grew up in Daytona Beach and graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters degree in Education. Right after graduating from college, I moved out to Houston, Texas to begin my teaching career at Mayde Creek Elementary. I taught 3rd grade for 6 years, and for the past two years, taught 5th grade.

I got married over the summer on August 4th, right before school started. My husband works at Florida Hospital, so that is what brought us back to the state of Florida. I just love Palm Coast! It is wonderful to be surrounded by kind people in such a beautiful environment.

My hobbies include curling up on the sofa on a rainy day and reading a good book, spending time with my family and friends, traveling, shopping, and going to the movies. I have two beautiful, furry babies, Sunny and Delilah. I'm sure you'll hear a lot of stories about my kitties this year. I am so excited to be your child's teacher, and I know we'll have a fabulous school year!
