Three nights a week please complete one of the activities from the Tic-Tac-Toe Spelling page. Click on the links below to see an example of each activity. ON THURSDAY NIGHTS please complete a spelling practice test.

Tic-Tac-Toe Spelling Page Click on each link below for samples and directions.

 

Rainbow Write-Use three different colored crayons, colored pencils, or markers to write over the word.

Ransom Note-Either cut out letters from newspapers and/or magazines OR use the computer to type each letter in a different font.

Picture + Word-Draw a small picturte to illustrate the meaning of each spelling word.

Sensory Spelling- Trace or make words in many different creative ways.

Color Coded- Use one color for consonants and a different color for vowels.

Spelling Spending- Add up each letters value.

Step Spelling- Add another letter each time you write the word to make "steps".

Word Search- make a word search using all of your spelling words.

Excercise Spelling- "Act out" each letter of your spelling words.
