Welcome to Mrs. O'Shell's First Grade Classroom website! I am very excited to begin a new year with you and your child. We will learn a lot this year and have fun at the same time. Your child will blossom into a confident reader, writer, and mathematician! Of course, each child will progress at an individual rate, but success is measured not by where they finish, but by how far they have come. I expect all children to try their best and work hard.
Please take a look through our website for helpful information about our classroom. I will continue to update this site throughout the year to help with parent/teacher communication. I believe that having open lines of communication between parent, child, and teacher help to ensure the success of your child. Together we can make this a great year!
