All About Mrs. Howes

Hello Roadrunners! My name is Diane Howes and I have lived in Palm Coast since 1976. I went to Bunnell Elementary School and Flagler Palm Coast High School (at that time, the ONLY two schools in this county!) and I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in Flagler County since the year 2000, and I have experience in grades 2, 3, and 4. Currently, I am the Title I teacher for qualifying fourth grade students, teaching them Reading and Math.

I have been married to my husband Matt for nearly 22 years and have 2 wonderful children. Our daughter Kendall is a sophomore at the University of South Florida and our son Matthew is a senior at Flagler Palm Coast High School. As a family, we enjoy boating and going to the movies together.

The Howes Family:

Matthew, Mrs. Howes, Mr. Howes, and Kendall

I am extremely proud to be a part of the Rymfire team. I look forward to working closely with your child and his/her classroom teacher. I will be supplementing classroom instruction in both Reading and Math with small group settings. Your child's success in academics and confidence in themselves is my goal.

"Learning is an individual activity but not a solitary one.

It is more effective when it takes place within a supportive community of learners."
