Homework and Class Work
The student planner is a means of communication between each student’s parents and his/her teacher(s). However, this is also the main organizational tool for the student. Each student is required to copy down his/her own homework daily. It is the student’s responsibility to know what the homework is and clarify with the teacher, if necessary, prior to the end of the school day. The student must bring home all materials needed to complete the homework. Students will not be allowed to come back into the classroom at the close of the school day to retrieve materials. All assignments given in class must be completed during the allotted class time. Students will be given an opportunity to finish the work on Fridays. If an assignment is still missing after 1 week it will be given a zero. Extra credit will not be given.
