| Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. A student's kindergarten and first grade years will provide them with the "building blocks" necessary to have a successful school career. My goal is to make it a great year for your child socially, emotionally, and academically. Your child's teacher and I will be working together to make the learning experience an exciting one, and we hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout their years of schooling.
