Welcome to Mrs. Cordova's 5th Grade Class
My fifth graders' are off to a great start! The students have all adapted nicely to their new routine and are following the classroom and school procedures. Fifth grade is a year of learning and growing not only in knowledge, but also in responsibility. It is in the fifth grade were we expect more from the students such as staying organized, focused and manage their school work/ homework responsibilities. The planner is a wonderful tool that should be used in order to achieve this self management. Your student should be writing in their planner daily to keep track of homework assignments and upcoming assessments. We also use the planners as an important communication tool between parent and teachers.
