Ms. Bryant's Homework Information

Please read the 3rd grade policies and procedures paper if you have any questions about our “no excuses” policy.

Reading Homework: Every night all students are required to read for 20 minutes. This can be anything that is printed, books, comics, magazines, and cereal boxes. Your child’s planner has a reading log, and this is a wonderful place to keep track of all your reading!

Spelling Homework: Students will receive their new spelling words every Monday. A sheet will be sent home each night for spelling homework. If there is ever confusion about a spelling assignment, students may simply write their spelling words 3x each. Spelling tests will be given every Friday, so Thursday night’s homework will always be to study for the next day’s test.

Math Homework: Students will be given a math practice sheet every night to complete. This sheet will practice the skills learned that day. Please return this homework every day in their take home folder. If your child is ever confused about their homework, encourage them to simply try, as long as I see effort they will be given credit. I am not expecting perfection; homework is just a way to practice the skills they learn in class!
