STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

Students are expected to show up for class daily with positive attitudes, proper school/class supplies, any homework, and following all rules and regulations set forth by the Pathways Administration.  As you will see from the grading policy, attendance and a good consistent work ethic are necessary to pass this class.  Students will read, take notes, and complete various assignments on a daily basis.  They will have homework at least 3 times a week, and when there is no homework or they have finished early, studying covered material and notes is crucial as there will not only be quizzes for each chapter but also one final exam at the end of each marking period which will cover all material from that marking period.  Students will not only be expected to work individually but also in groups as teamwork and teambuilding are an important characteristic to posses both in class and out.  Disrespect for others space and things, improper language, and misuse of class materials will not be tolerated.  If they’re not having fun they’re not trying hard enough, math is awesome!!!
