Paffumi was a multi sport college athlete(Football/Track at Mesa Community College) (Football Western New Mexico University).

Paffumi started out as a -

Football Coach at Apache Junction High School from 1998-2000 (Varsity-Linebackers and Runninig Backs Coach) 

Then from 2000-2001 Paffumi Coached Track (Shot and Disc), Weight Lifting Team, and Football (Varsity Defensive Line Coach) at Pedro Menendez High School

Then from 2001-2002 Paffumi Coached Football (Varsity Defensive Line), and Track (Shot and Disc)  at Clay High School.

Paffumi retired from coaching in 2002 to focus on his Masters Degree.
