Math News:

Please return your child's Math test folder after you sign it.

Week of November 17th

If your child is working in Chapter 11 we will finish the chapter this week and take a test on Chapter 11

If your child is working in Chapter 13 we will finish the chapter this week and take a test on Chapter 13

Homework will be the workbook pages to those chapters.

We will not be doing any Math next week on November 24th-25th.  Students will be presenting their Science projects.

 Multiplication drills will continue to be done and count as 10% of the students Math grade.   

After your child completes Chapter 11 we will skip over and begin working on Chapter 13.  Flagler County has adopted a Curriculum Map for Math and I am following the suggested outline.  That is the reason we are skipping chapters in the Math textbook.

You can go to www.harcourtschool.com for lessons that review and supplement our lessons taught in class. This is separate from the textbook site listed above.  If you go to this site it gives a glossary to help the students, additional lessons for each chapter and a multiplication drill site.  I recommend this highly.  When you go to the site you must choose to go to Harcourt Math and choose the purple rhino to indicate 4th grade.  If you have trouble let me know.
