Welcome to Old Kings Elementary School, home of the proud owls. At Old Kings Elementary School, we aspire to create with family and community support, a secure environment where children are authentically engaged in standard based work.  In order to do this, clear expectations and communication between school and home are essential. 

With our new website, we are striving to communicate better with parents and students. Please be patient as we all learn this wonderful tool of communication.  In the meantime, watch for parent information which we send home on purple paper so you can easily distinguish it from your child's other work. We look forward to having a successful year with you as our partner in your child's education.

Welcome to the Old Kings Elementary School Website.  It is with great pleasure I begin my second year as one of the assistant principals. I spent 5 years as a 5th grade teacher at Old Kings when the school first opened.  So my return here was like coming home.  I have been in Flagler County for 21 years and have served in many capacities.  My background is in elementary education and special education.  I have taught elementary, middle and high school.  I have worked as a curriculum specialist in the district office and as a coordinator for the K-5 EBD program.  I hope to spend many more years at OKES where we fly right and always give a hoot.

Jean Stahl

I am pleased to be a member of the Old Kings Elementary team.  I come to school everyday knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of our students.  Watching them learn and grow everyday gives us all a great pride in our task as a school.

I have a BA in Mathematics with teacher licensure from Maryville College in Maryville, TN.  I obtained my MEd in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.  I taught high school mathematics and coached many sports before being given the opportunity to work with the wonderful faculty, staff, and students here at Old Kings.

I have a beautiful wife that is an educator as well.  We have 2 lovely children, a boy and a girl.  I enjoy spending my free time with my family.  I also enjoy playing golf and coaching the FPC Bulldog varsity football team.
