Responsibilities·         General Rules (see attached student contract, MHS student handbook)·         Respect (towards other students, teacher, school materials)·         Safety ·         Collaborations with other studentsClassroom Procedures·         Collect portfolio/current project upon arrival to classroom·         Check board for daily directions and assignments·         Wait in assigned seat for class to begin; work in sketchbook ·         teacher will collect projects as scheduled and return to student for storage in portfolios until end of semester; all practice stored here also·         sharpen pencils, collect tools/supplies upon arrival to classroom     (never during teacher instruction time if late to class)Activities·         Whole group instruction and individual practice for all projects·         Major art projects (normally scheduled for 1 - 2 weeks)·         Textbook/reading projects, research and art history lessons·         Set up/clean up procedures should be followed on daily basis
