About Me!

This is my third year at Matanzas High School.  I have many things planned to make your child’s experience challenging and rewarding. 

A little about me:  I have a BS in Psychology, with an Education Minor from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.  I received my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.  I plan on starting the Doctoral Program at UCF this fall. I hold a Florida Professional Teaching Certification in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, English 5 - 9, English 6 - 12 and Exceptional Student Education 6 - 12.

This is my 24th year of teaching.  I have been at the elementary, middle and now, the high school levels; taught grades 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 11; science, geography, chorus, American history, reading and language arts (English).

Again this year, I will be working in the Dean's office to get "on the job training" for administarion.  The Dean's office kept me very busy last year and I cannot believe how much I have learned!  I am looking forward to working in the Dean's office for the 2008 - 2009 school year!!!
