Welcome to another year of learning and discovery; I am excited to be part of your education journey! I just completed my first year as a pirate at Matanzas High School. I am very pleased with the progress my students achieved and I look forward to working even harder the deliver Read180, Intensive Reading, and English I instruction to ninth grade students.

     Every year I tell my students that everything we do in the classroom is for a reason. "If you trust me, participate fully in class, and do your Home Fun - you will be successful." In fact, the only way to do poorly is to not do these three simple things. I don't care what your past experience has been; I know we can make this the best year ever. Let's work together to make it happen.
