Mr. Westly's Language Arts
Over the next couple of weeks we will be reading a great book called Number the Stars, by Lois Lowry, the author of The Giver. This book is a historical fiction set in World War II Denmark. It tells of how this small country stood up to the Nazis and helped 7000 Jews escape to Sweden.
Monday - Read "Aschenputtel," a German Cinderella story.
Tuesday - Complete MMs 2-8, p. 604. Read three Cinderella Stories
Wednesday - Complete MMs 1-6 p. 612.
Thursday - library
Friday- TBA (creative writing assignment)
