2008-2009 is my 23rd year in the classroom!
This is my third year at ITMS, and my 6th year in Flagler County. I taught 8th grade Physical Science for three years at Buddy Taylor Middle School.
I also taught 7th and 8th graders in Duval County (Jacksonville) for 17 years before moving here to Palm Coast.
Before I entered the classroom, I taught K-6 nature programs at the Museum of Science & History in Jacksonville.
I have a B.A. in Biology from Warren Wilson College, Asheville, North Carolina, then earned my teacher certification at the Univ. of North Florida in Jacksonville.
In my free time (ha!) my husband and I enjoy traveling, running, biking, skiing, hiking, canoeing and kayaking.
