Dear Student, Parent/Guardian,

     My name is Cheryl Parks and I am your/your child's math teacher. I graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo [in Ohio] with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology. I worked in retail for several years and then when I moved to Florida started work as a substitute teacher. I found I liked working with students and decided to try my hand at teaching full time. After taking some additional college courses I earned my dual certification in middle school math and science. 

 This is my 13th year at ITMS and I am very proud to be part of such a great faculty and staff.  I also feel like we have the best students in Flagler county. 

 I have one daughter named Alison, who attended 1st through 8th grade here at ITMS and graduated last year from FPCHS.  She will be attending New College of Florida in Sarasota.  She is considering a major in International Studies and French.
