I'm in the process of making positive phone calls for the students who are really doing a great job on class. I am trying to do a few calls for each class each day. Please don't be afraid if the phone rings from school!!!!!!!

Personal Fitness class

My personal fitness class for 7th and 8th graders is designed for students to take responsibility for their own fitness and to learn skills that will help them be healthy for a lifetime. We are currently working out in the weight room (Nautilus machines, bands, treamill, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes and step boxes) three times a week. The other two days will be working on fitness test items and individual and dual lifetime sports. (archery, tennis, badminton, table tennis, bocce ball, horse shoes, etc.)

My regular P.E. classes are currently working on flag football skills. Game play will start at the end of this week after the skills and playing rules are completed. A study guide is given to help with rules, strategy and will help them on the written test.

TEST on Team Handball on Monday, Oct. 6th for my regular P.E. classes. 

All classes are training for the mile run at the end of the month. Students are encouraged to also run at home to help get the best possible time.

All students will need a folder for class. They are given an assignment on the first day of the week. The assigment is due on Thursday. (If the first day of the school week is Tuesday, then the folder is due on Friday.)
