Mrs. Kemp's Class Expectations

 

Being Prepared for Class

Students are required to have their Science Notebook AND their planner with them every day.
 

Materials: Each student will need a 3-subject notebook, 2 three-pronged pocket folders (one to be used as a journal and the other for loose papers), paper, glue stick, pens, pencils, coloring utensils, and a hand-held pencil sharpener.  A box of Kleenex and a bag of candy for prizes is optional.

Classroom Rules

• Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.
• Come to class prepared: Two pencils, assignments complete, planner, notebooks, and paper.
• Follow directions first time given.
• Keep your eyes on your own paper.
• Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated!

Classroom Expectations

The student will …

• Be respectful to the teacher, classmates, and him/herself at all times.
• Allow classmates to learn and the teacher to teach.
• Do all the necessary work needed to pass this class.
• Be a team player.
• Ask for help when needed.
• Retain all graded assignments.
• Be honest when completing peer and self-evaluations.
• Turn in assignments on time.
