Maria Gillan was the first place winner from the entire ITMS sixth grade group of contestants.  she earned second place on May 1, in the county contest.  Yea Maria!!

Mrs. Faulconer and Mrs. Hayslip are the proud recipients of a grant sponsored by the Flagler County Education Foundation.  The grant title, Happy Paws: Service Dogs Assisting Readers, will teach the sixth grade students about the raising of a service dog.  Through reading, writing, and character development activities, students will experience first hand, what it means to productively contribute to society.
