Forces Flip Board Project Due Date: ______________________ Objective:  You will create a “Forces in Motion” flip-card board for your favorite sport.  It will have seven questions, five that I give you, and two that you will create on your own.  You need to make them HOW or WHY questions dealing with the forces and/or motions that influence your chosen sport. Questions:1.   How does friction influence the movements of _______________? 2.   How does the force of gravity influence the movements in ________________?3.   How does inertia apply to _____________?4.   How does momentum apply to ______________?5.   How do action-reaction forces apply to _______________?6.   Student developed question7.   Student developed question You will place these questions on flip cards and place them on poster board.  Be sure to answer the questions THOROUGHLY and in complete sentences.  You will then decorate the poster with picture of your chosen sport (drawn, magazines, newspapers, computer, or photos).  NEATNESS and CREATIVITY count!  You will then present your finished board to the class, answering all the questions – IN COMPLETE SENTENCES – on your flip cards. Materials:            -Poster (1/2 size works fine)          -8 Index cards (4x6 or 5x7)          -Pictures of your chosen sport Grading:  This project is worth 100 points – 10 points per question, 15 points for poster decoration, and 15 points for class presentation.
