Is the study of living things. We start with the microscopic organisms and work out way up to larger ones. The emphasis throughout the year will be on problem solving, using the steps of the scientific method and analyzing data...as well as learning about all things living.
(Did you know The Viceroy Butterfly (Limenitis archippus) has evolved to mimic and look like the poisonous Monarch butterfly so that predators will avoid it!)
