Assignment #1 - Landscape / Waterscape |
Don't forget to get out and shoot your landscape assignment!
Remember to go to the educational websites and/or your notes in your notebook if you have questions about using your camera.
Don't shoot into the sun! Instead, shoot with the sun to your back so your subjects are lit by the sun.
Check your film speed prior to shooting.
Remember to "compose" your photos by moving your camera viewpoint to the most aesthic angle.
Try a vertical composition, they are easier to compose and usually have better balance.
Think of your scene in terms of black and white tone, not colors.
Remember to make all of your shots similar to the ones on the "Simple Forms of Composition" handout.
Don't forget to fill out a film log! It's worth 10 points.
How important is a "focal point" or "center of interest" in landscape photography? VERY!!!
