To Excuse an Absence: Parents can excuse 5 absences per 18 weeks (10 per school year).   Doctor or court excused absences are unlimited.  Hand notes in to the student hub into the basket marked “Absent Notes”, there is NO phone line to call excuses must be submitted in writing.  Any absences over 15 days must be excused with a doctor’s or court excused note only.   Please see attendance office for more information. 

Student Sign-Out Procedures:

To sign a student out, parents come into the Student Hub, with proper identification, we will call your student out of class.  Parent sign out does not excuse the absence.

We do not sign students out over the phone…that means…parents cannot call the school and say please let Susie sign out today – or leave with another student/friend, etc.  

Students that drive need to bring a note to the Student Hub in the morning with a phone number where the parent/guardian can be reached.  After parent contact, the student will be allowed to sign themselves out.  If the Hub cannot contact the parent, the student may not leave.
