Parents:

I am still in the process of returning phone calls regarding progress reports. I appreciate your patience. Everyone at my house has had bronchitis in the last 2 weeks, my own daughter has missed a good deal of school and is still coughing! I feel your pain, too as I know many families are taking turns being sick as this runs through our community. 

Much better week in class. 4th Period is back in the studio working on the paper weaving project completed earlier by other classes. These students also have a Unit 2 test on Monday, March 3, 2008. Encourage them to practice vocabulary with you at home this weekend.

We are continuing the Navajo Unit with a cardboard loom project beginning Monday for periods 1,2,5,& 6. We'll work on this project steadily for 2 weeks in class and then the students must finish the project in their "free time in class". Time management will be important here as well as weaving skills. Looms will not be allowed to leave the classroom. The tentative due date for this project is two months out...
