18) VALUE CHARTS Studio. In your sketchbook, using a ruler, measure 3 rectangles that are 1 x 5". Divide each of these into 7 sections. In each of the sections create a value starting with the white of the page and gradually blending into the blackest black you can make with your pencil. On the 2nd chart choose to try either stippling , hatching or cross hatching. On the 3rd chart invent a method of making tonal differences like, squiggles, bubbles, checkmarks, stars..... 10 points DUE 2/15/08. (This assignment takes about an hour if done carefully)
