Assistant Principal Michael Elliott is in his third year as assistant prinicpal at BTMS. He is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio) with an M.B.A. from the univsersity of Hartford and M. Ed. from Stetson University. Mr. Elliott is entering his 27th year in education including 16 years at Flagler Palm Coast High School as a teacher, coach, dean and assistant prinicpal. His spouse of 31 years, Cynthia, is also a teacher. He is the father of three children, all of whom attended BTMS.  His favorite past-time is reading. His coaching background includes many years of football, wrestling, track and lacrosse. In 1981, he was Southern Ohio High School Football Coach of the Year and in 2004 Florida Lacrosse Coach of the Year. At Buddy Taylor, Mr. Elliott's duties include supervising facilities, 8th grade discipline, testing and supervision. "I have greatly enjoyed my time at BTMS. We are an "A" school because we have the greatest students in the world. I am fortunate to work with such  great staff and students."  

 

Assistant Principal Nathan Lovelette is in his third year as assistant principal at BTMS. He has a B.A. degree from Flagler College and a M.S. degree from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Lovelette is entering his 8th year in education, all in the Flagler County School system. He was a teacher at Wadsworth Elementary School for 5 years before making his move to Buddy Taylor Middle School. Mr. Lovelette is in charge of the Exceptional Student Education (E.S.E.) department at the school. He is married with two children, including one that attends BTMS. In his spare time he enjoys coaching and playing soccer, fishing and spending time with his family. "I am honored to be a part of the BTMS family. Through the hard work and dedication of the staff and students, I look forward to "A"nother great school year!"

 

Dean Bob Osborne has been at Buddy Taylor for the past 15 years.  He has a Bachelor's from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master's from Shippensburg University.  He served 25 years in the United States Army and retired in 1993. Mr. Osborne has been a teacher for 10 years at BTMS and has been the Dean of Students for the past 5 years.  He was the VFW Teacher of the Year in 1999 and BTMS Teacher of the Year 2001.
