Upcoming Events

• Meet your teacher day will be August 15th!  Stop by anytime between 1:00-3:00 p.m.
  
• Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.  This allows us to meet with a small group of children each of the first three days and eases adjustment for the students.

Mrs. Phillips is getting ready for Kindergarten. I can't wait to start another year! You can start getting your kindergarten student ready for school too! Review alphabet letters and sounds. Practice writing his name with an uppercase first letter and the rest lowercase. Also practice cutting and using glue. Kindergarten is not all fun and games anymore; the academic demands are high. You can also help get your child ready by reading! Some great titles for the beginning of the year include: "Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten", "Franklin Goes to School", "Biscuit Goes to School" and "The Kissing Hand." Enjoy the rest of your summer and I look forward to meeting everyone!
