 FLAGLER CEC CHAPTER 1195

 We believe:

  • in advocating for the advancement of the education of individuals with exceptionalities
  • in equitable access to and meaningful participation in quality educational opportunities
  • that full participation of individuals with exceptionalities enriches all communities
  • education is a collaborative effort among learners, educators, families, communities, governments, business, and industries
  • CEC shapes the future of educaiton

Flagler CEC wants to become a recognized leader in advocacy for special education policy.  We went to be a part of the long history of success in impacting this country's policy and legislation in special education, gifted, and general education areas.  We will work to improve and influence public policy and awareness affecting children with exceptionalities, those with disabilities and/or gifted of talent, their parents and the professionals who work with them, at all levels of government.  We are planning events and fundraisers to offer scholarships to students with exceptionalities, as well as provide academic grants to our members.
