Hello my name is Mrs. Ana M. Fajardo and I am from Los Angeles, California but of Cuban descent. My family moved to Miami, Florida in October of 1978 and that is where I continued my life, received my education, and have been teaching since 1991.

 Since 2005-2006, I team teach with another fabulous teacher, Christopher Knox.  We decided to create an intensive learning education for our students by teaching to our strengths.  He teaches Reading, Science, and Social Studies.  I teach Writing and Math.  The procedure flows quite smoothly and the Fajardo's Falcons and Knox's Nebula Navigators unite and become the Dream Team.

  My philosophy is that our job, as teachers, is to search for the method of teaching which best suits the needs of our children so that they can acquire as much knowledge as possible and so that their higher level thinking skills are sharp and intuitive.  We all are different in many ways.  It is due to this vast expansion of personal traits that with proper training can lead all of us to be the best we can be as educated and caring members of society.  With this thought, please know that I am always attending workshops and classes, performing research, and reading books to further my education so that I can be the best possible teacher for the children in my care and that together with the parents, I will provide the best possible education for each individual student, not only as an educator of academic areas, but as an individual who cherishes family values and promotes all of the character traits that lead us to be caring, responsible, honest, and educated individuals.
