PHYSICAL EDUCATION

 Be Prepared for Class:

      *    Dressing appropriately for participation in Physical Education class is very important. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. If skirts or dresses are to be worn, shorts should be worn underneath to allow for full participation in PE.

      *     Wear athletic shoes (sneakers), shoes that are designed for use in physical activity. Shoes must be fastened securly to the feet.

      *     It's hot outside!!! We encourage students to bring hats, sunglasses and to apply sunscreen to protect themselves from the sun.

      *     Students may bring a water bottle to PE. The bottle may contain plain water only! Sorry, no flavored water, mix ins, juice, sports drinks, etc. Any spills make a sticky mess and attract bees, wasps and red ants, to name a few.

 
 

 Excuses:

      If for any reason you cannot participate in PE class, have your parent contact your PE teacher. A dated note from your parent will excuse you from class for up to two days. A doctor's note is needed if more than two days will be missed.

 

 Injures:

      All injuries must be reported to your PE teacher immediately. Please do not leave class until you have notified your PE Teacher of any accident. no mater how minor. so that proper first aid procedures may be followed.

 

     

 
 

 Climbing Wall:

We have an Indoor Rock Climbing Wall. The wall is 8 feet tall and 36 feet long. Students climb horizintally across the wall and their feet should never be more than three feet off the ground. The wall is supplied with a protective mat on the floor that is 2 inches thick X 6 feet wide X 36 feet long.
