 | Welcome to a new and exciting school year! My official title is Reading Intervention Specialist and I will be working with second and third grades. I also have the privilege of sharing kindergarten and first grade with our Reading Coach. My job consists of working with both teachers and students. I will spend fifty one percent of my day in direct contact with students and forty-nine percent of my day working with teachers. |
| My heart is with reading instruction and I hope to help each and every teacher in anyway that I can. I do not think that I in anyway have all the answers. I know that there are many ways to teach reading effectively so I will never, nor could I ever mandate anything. Any and all suggestions made by me are exactly that, suggestions! |  |
