Welcome to Mrs. Narin's First Grade Class

Welcome to First Grade!  

Grade One is one of the most important building blocks of your child’s school career.  I want to make it a great year for your child to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Throughout first grade, your child will learn how to read, write, add, subtract, and much more.  I hope to make your child’s first grade learning experience a fun and exciting one, and I hope to instill a love of learning that will last a lifetime.  This can be accomplished by a cooperative effort between students, parents, and teachers all working toward this goal.

I can be more successful in meeting the needs of your child when our lines of communication are open. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions or concerns.  Conferences are held for all students during the 1^st and 3^rd quarter.  However, I would be happy to meet with you at any time to address any issues. You may call the school (437-7533, ext. 1109) and leave a message or email me and I will gladly get back to you as soon as possible, usually within a day.  Regular communication lets your child know that we are all on the same page!
