Monday-Thursday Repeated Reading/Fluency Timing Your child will receive a reading passage on Monday. Each night this week, time your child as they read out loud to you. Count the number of words read correctly in 1 minute and record on the sheet provided. This week we are focusing on intonation-- the way your voice rises and falls when you read, as well as accuracy-- reading the words correctly. Please underline or highlight the words your child does not recognize and provide extra practice with those words. Please sign or initial your child's paper each night so I know you supervised the activity. This passage should come back to school each day with your child. |

Please take time this week to quiz your child and help them master their multiplication facts.
